Maziyar Faridi just received the very prestigious National Endowment for the Humanities faculty fellowship to work on his book project during 2024-2025. You can add that Maziyar is the second alumnus from CLS to receive this recognition as Arif Camoglu also got a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship a year ago
