CLS proposes a new Minor in World Literature
The proposal has been approved by WCAS curricular committee
and had its first reading in the WCAS faculty meeting
at the beginning of fall quarter. It will be brought to discussion
again and voted on in the WCAS faculty meeting
in winter quarter. Though students cannot officially declare
a minor before it is formally approved, interested students
should contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Michal
Ginsburg (m-ginsburg@northwestern.edu), to discuss
the requirements. The required “gateway” course for the minor,
CLS 201 Reading World Literature will be offered in
spring quarter, taught by Professor William West. Students
who are interested in the minor are encouraged to enroll in
this course.
